I have just transported a container full of radioactive rocks from Cornwall in England all the way to Eastern Europe surprising that somebody is bothering to take radioactive material in this Direction but all the same. I have seen many techniques on YouTube for refining uranium ore all the way down into metal however I am more interested in gamma emitters and some of the samples I have have a meeting extremely high energy gamma or at least extremely high energy to my understanding. what would be the best way to extract all of the radioactive materials from these rocks some of which are clear yellow cake ore and some of dark pitchblende. the most radioactive materials you are a very small all dark coloured crystal in the middle of a small broken Rock that Emits huge amount of gamma. this camera is energetic enough to make it through several layers of lead and the trunk of my car. I don't really care about the particular chemicals or elements that are involved I just want to have the most concentrated source of radiation the will no doubt include alpha beta and gamma and this will be placed inside an enclosure made of lead and concrete with various Shields so that I can provide for experimentation beams of Alpha Beta or gamma. the purposes will range from radiography to sterilization and power generation through photonic conversion. I'm assuming that I will still basically go through the steps of using a strong acid to dissolve all of the non nuclear material and then filter what is left before may be making some kind of extraction process. all information will be gratefully received.
