Is digit ratio legit science?

Digit ratio = index finger length/ring finger length

Pic related is mine. Its ~1. Anything one or above is feminine.

I looked a little Like the face on the far left (pic incoming below). I had the big forehead and tapered in chin line. Kind of like a wide V.

What's your ratio?

Physical strength is genetic. Testosterone has less to do with size and muscle than you think. Skinny guys can have high test.

Testerone = digit ratio & fWHR(facial width)

You're over-thinking it. Nobody is busting out the calipers at parties to check out your digit ratio. All that matters is what you can see at a glance. If you're not good looking, and not well-built it's about as useful as counting sheep.

Its not about the ratio on the hands per se, rather about the fact that the digit ratio on our fingers supposedly correlates with very clear and obvious facial features such as a more masculine face.

Yeah, maybe, but what's the point of the digit ratio part of this equation? If you've got a masculine appearance, physical strength and all of the most important at a glance attributes of masculinity you won't give a fuck about what your digit ratio is.

The only reasons so far as I can see are either purely academic, or as a cope for the fact that you don't have the actually important traditional signs of manhood that're actually socially useful.

These things are more difficult to ascertain than you may realise. Most men centre around the mean in terms of masculinity with the vast majority of men rating themselves about average in masculinity. Also masculinity can often prove subjective for the majority of men who are neither hyper-masculine or hyper-feminine in appearance. Myself for example, I honestly can't determine if I am masculine or not. I have my fair share of masculine traits, for example my jawline is wide and I grow a strong beard, but I have a big forehead with no browridge and my jaw narrows in at the bottom. I have heard some people tell me I look like a caveman(especially with a beard) while others have called me a prettyboy.

The joke trope in movies has vastly overrated the masculinity of 'athletes'. The Pro PC gamer has higher t than an athlete(digit ratio and testosterone has a positive correlation with gaming skills) yet people will think the nerd is low t even though he is a Nick dicked non social( high t = no social skills) skinny nerd.

On a side note, DiCaprio look kinda like the feminine digit ratio face on the left I posted above , it can look good I suppose.

It doesn't matter at all, all that matters is what's visible at a glance.
Also protip free-flowing test is less important than how well your body can absorb and use that testosterone. It's why Arnold Schwarzenegger was a successful bodybuilder, some guys respond better to the same chemicals.

This is true. Testosterone receptors you are referring to. Speaking of which high testosterone in the womb(masculine digit ratio) has been linked to better/more sensitive testosterone receptors.

My index finger is slightly longer than my ring finger. I suppose you could say that I have a feminine type face, but I have a beard, large amounts of body hair, a deep voice, and i build muscle extremely easily. So those secondary sex characteristics definitely outweigh whatever original bone structure I have, at first glance
