I saw people (postdocs) well into their 30s acting like fucking children and talking shit about undergrads and phd students because they don't know
'something'.

And it goes all the way up to professors. Constant passive agressive attempts to show superiority like it's literally "im smarter than u shut up, i published x articles".

If i could compare it to something i'd say the average person pursuing an academic career is no better that some 12 year old kid playing assfaggots like dota 2 competitively in his mom's basement.

Is it the atmosphere? Or it's just this career attracts shit people for some reason?
