If the organism is producing a new chemical compound then the body may interact with the organism differently, but it’s very rare for a GM to be of this variety imo. E.g. RoundUp ready crops have a modified transporter which is not inhibited by roundup the way the same transporter is in other crops. The modification in GM crops is most often a modification of the proteome imo, which wouldn’t affect you post digestion of the food.
Its too bad theres so much disinfo on the internet so you can’t find actual issues with GM crops, which do exist. I recommend checking out a book on GM at your local library, and it’ll give you a legitimate list of 5-7 issues with GM.
