I’m working through this book but there’s not very many exercises, even though I’ve been doing all the ‘you should verify’ and proving whatever I can independently. Anyone anons got questions roughly on the Axler level that I can work on?

read the wiki there will be textbooks that meet both of your requirements I assure you, keep in mind that Axler wrote the book with the intention of it being a second linear algebra book for undergrads who already finished a matrix/elementary algebra course

But Fuchs-Fomenko is absolutely great for algebraic topology. For a substantially more categorical approach, Strom is also good.
