There's climate change happening now. Sort of boring when you get down to it. Over the course of decades the climate changes and civilization collapses. Most likely due to reduced crop yields. In 100 years we could see temperatures exceed what humans can withstand. And that's wetbulb temperature mind you, if you're all wet and in the shade, you'd still over heat. Reduced crop yields is the scary one, but hey maybe we can solve this by feeding everyone with bioengineered basedmint and cockroach paste.

Basically the world depends currently on mined sulphur for synthesizing fertilizer. We run out of sulphur to mine we no longer have civilization.
