There is an experiment to sequester carbon into the ground as an agricultural practice.
At this point, there doesn't really seem to be a single solution that will be able to handle the issue. We need to use a bunch of them. AOC's 'Green New Deal' is a pretty exciting.
If you want to be a real hero, you could go vegetarian. Or at least swear off beaf. I'm personally too much of a hedonist to do that myself. Which is part of why I want affordable synthetic meat to exist and take off. A more reasonable thing you can do is just try and make a point of turning off appliances when you aren't using them. I know that some environmentalist advocate using powerstrips to conveniently really turn them off instead of just sorta turning them off (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standby_power). I try to put my cell on low power mode whenever I remember. No idea how to make it so it stays like that, it tends to revert to regular power mode after I charge it a while.
IIRC I read something about someone making a machine that can sequesters atmospheric carbon into the ground, but if you use fossil fuels to fuel it, it's footprint is higher than what it sequesters. Supposedly they might be able to able to industrialize the creation process of these machines so they cost the same as a car. So if we actually get to the point where we are only using clean electricity, we can try to use those to reverse the increase of CO2 in the air.
