Later this week we're going to the coldest global temperature I've seen in years.
Is this just a fluke or related to the global solar minimum?

because I deem today's global temperatures to be still conform the global warming hypothesis since there have been a couple of instances in the past of the globe cooling 0.5-0.6 degrees prior to warming up to new records.
Cooling 0.8 degrees would be unprecedented (going by monthly averages).
Those predicted for later this week are starting to test the boundaries if sustained imo.
