I remember when they added the Stout Shield item to DotA in Warcraft 3. It gave you a 30% chance to block 30 damage. My friend used to always buy 3 of them, because then he had 90% chance to block 90 damage. Good times.

That's actually due to imperfections in your coin and/or thermal, magnetic, or gravitational interference in your home. In your case this created a bias that made it so that your coin only had around 35% chance per flip of heads, meaning you only get heads in two flips 70% of the time. A third flip would have made it over 100%

In case you actually are retarded and don't understand:

prob(get heads at least once in 2 tosses) = prob(get on first toss) OR prob(don't get on first toss, but get it on second toss)

prob(get on first toss) = 1/2
prob(don't get on first toss, but get on second toss) = prob(don't get on first toss) * prob(get on second toss)
= 1/2 * 1/2 = 1/4

so:
prob(get heads at least once in 2 tosses) = 1/2 + 1/4 = 0.75

probability is actually 75%
