Additionally most people go to college to get hammered and become a "business" guy or something. Even most people in STEM end up as code monkeys, or at the very least not working in biological sciences. Then the Foundation has to compete for the few qualified people that do exist (which is why they have internship programs). So lack of a large talent pool is also a problem
