Ok /sci/, does anyone here know of any person or group that independently develops, researches or experiments with something meaningful in the field of biology/medicine?
I have been looking for anyone for the past weeks and disappointingly have found nothing, nada, zero.
There must be someone working on something like this, like a young entrepeneur from sillicon valley of the past century. It should be time for independently developed biological breakthroughs. Sure, the lack of resources would make it difficult but I think the lack of constrainment would be worth it.
