Is it just me, or do the "damped" portions of the spring and electronic oscillators translate into each other?

Resistance - heat loss, through spring-like vibrations in the material

Spring stiffness - electrochemical resistance in the material

The only losses I'm seeing are entropic, rather than entrophic
