The number line is empty until you write in the numbers. A function of a curve has no points until you draw the points. It never has infinite points. As this also is intuitive, it makes no sense to assume the existence of the reals.

Yes, integers are uncomparable if you choose the schizophrenia that is set theory to define them. If you define natural numbers e.g. as finite strings of symbols 0-9 and integers as pairs of natural numbers, then every two integers can be easily compared by a finite algorithm. Can you do the same for real numbers? You can't.

Exactly, "x = 0 if P, x = 1 if not P" is definitely not a string of 0-9. It might be a predicate uniquely specifying an integer though, depending on P. If I were given an actual integer satisfying the predicate, i.e. a pair of strings of 0-9, I could easily compare it to any other integer. Nothing similar can be said about real numbers, because you can't even say what a real number *is*. If you think otherwise, just define a real number similarly to how I've defined integers, as in "a real number is...", and tell me how to compare two real numbers. I bet you can't.
