>>14378717The Japanese do it right, sometimes. They make kids clean and work jobs at their schools, as well as loaning some kids out for education programs such as assisting in farming. More of this should be done, it acclimates people to the working world and makes them think it's ok to be a cog in the machine because everyone pitches in their work and we all benefit, and you should too. Or at least that's what should be taught, and expand to more industries.
The question is do you agree with soft-propaganda like that.
My only problem is the way our society is headed where even if it was implemented in an effective way the pay for most jobs is below-subsistence level facilitating the need for multiple jobs, overworking the populace and driving deep unhappiness.
Any goal of a society of course should be for its well being, and its well being includes worker happiness, easy access to homes, food, clean water. The only reason despair and shortages exist is because to some in power only production numbers matter, only output, cashflow.
There is much more to be gained in keeping people content, not stressed to the point of breaking under their plight. But who even cares, the mentality isn't taught, your obedience is implied, demanded. We could organize for the better, but still know we all have to do our part, we all work for each other in one way or another.
We need a new ideology to reinvigorate the spirit of man.
