For example, for the commercial capsule program NASA paid SpaceX about 2/3rds of what Boeing has received. And for that, SpaceX has delivered a working product with its Dragon capsule, while Boeing's Starliner fucked up on the unmanned test launch in 2019, and has not been to space since.
Or look at the Air Force and GPS launches; SpaceX charges them about half the price ULA does. Complaining about someone selling services to the government, when they are by far the cheapest bidder, is dumb.
