>>14334528idk i think it depends. in my calculus class there is a girl from haiti and her family immigrated when she was 13. she speaks fluent french/english and is very academically smart. now when you look at haiti as a country they have collectively one of the lowest IQs not to mention their country is rife with problems.
so maybe her parents were the smart ones that got the hell out at the first opportunity they could, maybe other Haitians are as smart/capable as her but held back by a country with no education, infrastructure, food, etc.
she does also rock back and forth which a trait of autism. for instance when the calculus teacher is showing us how to do something ill sometimes glance around the room and i noticed that she rocks back in forth. so maybe she is just autistic which makes her smarter.
on this similar topic i have noticed many African americans are quite capable and intelligent where black people already born in the usa seem to not be as intelligent. idk if slave breeding, welfare, generational poverty just made them less intelligent. its a weird thing really.
