If there is a cultural or genetic component I still see environment playing a part, I'm interested in the theory that seasonal variance requires foresight and planning amongst a people. Whether that be winter/summer, wet/dry or high/low river levels. aren't weaker populations usually absorbed or destroyed, why has the weaker pastoral and tribal cultures of Africa only recently been challenged, is it possible that it was to daunting or not worth it?
Also why does everyone shit on Africa but not: North America, Non-Andean South America, Australia and Central Asia all get a free pass?
