Whats the science behind political brainwashing, how does it all work? Lets say you wanted to brainwash someone in to agreeing to your harmful, expensive and otherwise unwanted government policies, how would you do it? My pet theory on the topic would be that is you could send the subject to brainwashing camp every weekday from age 5 to age 18, you might be able to eventually convince a large enough proportion of the population to have the necessary effect, some of the dumber ones or maybe some Stockholm syndrome types might require further brainwashing to keep the system going perpetually, but I think for most a dozen or so years before age 18 should do the trick.
What does /sci/ think about my theory, do you have any alternative theories?
