>>14274993>I don't understand your fixation on autism>giving an entire rant about society and indoctrinationWhat are you trying to say? How does this relate to the discussion about autism and psychiatry in general?
Also, the most durable parts of human societies reside in their ability to survive and reproduce and be healthy and be more compliant and social., not necessarily through brainwashing. If someone is more social and compliant and not rebellious or defiant, then they are more likely to survive as they are group-oriented. This is how most societies endure throughout time. Indoctrination and brainwashing is how ideologies and cults survive, not societies.
Also, who said that in muslim societies "kids are not human beings"? Also, madaris (not madrasas) are declining, and they certainly do not have political power, all they do is teach the quran and hadith to students. The part about kids having to memorize the quran, was mostly present in saudi arabia and egypt from 1800-2000, and is a tradition that has been attacked by some scholars and even Osama bin laden, its criticized for missing the meaning of the quran and only focusing on blind memorization. So yes, even osama bin laden, the pinnacle of islamist trerrorism, criticizes blind memorization.
