Reminder that scientists didn't say the vaccine was better than your immune system. They said that the vaccine is needed to slow down major losses in population and save as many lives as possible. Which is primarily why they targeted the elderly, unhealthy and sick first when vaccines first came out.

No shit an immune system thats been with you since pre-birth and fundamentally not compromised will on average do better than a vaccine jerryrigged in a year. That's like saying the arm you were naturally born with is better than a prosthetic arm. No one argued otherwise, it's just that the alternative to having no arm or vaccine to supplement a compromised immune system is worse.
