Most of them being elderly, obese or already ill with something else. Those people are at much risk from a dozen other infectious diseases as they are from Covid.
Just isolate the most at risk. Give subsidies for their extra care rather than inconveniencing everyone, fucking up the lives of huge number of people, coercing people into taking vaccines against their own judgement, and bankrupting numerous small businesses.
