>>14245334>since if the "gifted" kids are kids of professors that means their parents are spending time teaching them which implies intelligence be it general or specialized is not genetic."gifted" kid here. Parents were not professors. National merit despite not caring about "education" (unfortunately was enrolled in PubEd) or ever practicing any standardized tests. Slept my way through physics undergrad at a good university. No PhD because profs seemed miserable for the most part (old guys and genius-tier guys excepted, as they didn't have to do the grant-dance).
My maternal lineage includes a bunch of bigbrains, and, as I understand things, G is largely passed along by mothers. My dad isn't a brainlet, but he's not the same as the sharpest of my maternal uncles.
I recently read a review of a book which posited that premature infants are over represented in the genius category. The hypothesis is that the stress of being thrust into the world too early forces the underdeveloped brain to search deal with pain/hunger and therefore begin to grok cause/effect (proto-rationality) sooner than typical, thereby strengthening neural networks ASAP and increasing G. I was born over two months "prematurely" and was nearly immediately subjected to genital torture/mutilation as Genesis 17:12 (iirc) dictates the jews do to their slaves. If the pain/confusion of being born too early actually does increase one's intelligence, then the additional (literal and hyper-intense) torture of circumcision is certainly an amplifier of the effect.
tl;dr: any "medical professional" (HEALER) who mutilates infants deserves to be executed.
