Listen. Europe has hardcore federal states as well, like Germany, Belgium or Austria (EU) or Switzerland, Russia (non-EU). The difference in their education systems between their states is as big as it in the US.
The US is comparable to Germany, not the EU, let alone Europe.

It holds some merit, in that there are 3 "main" senses that people use. Those are sight, hearing and touch.
People that are highly in tune with their hearing tend to be musicians and vice versa, for example.
And same goes for the other 2 senses

So yes, technically they're right. However, it's fucking stupid to make everyone dumb instead of just giving extra lessons to the outlier that can't visualize numbers
