a few persons have suggested that was actually just a made up excuse by nasa to put it on FH so it wouldn’t burden the artemis timetable. They had to have a technical excuse to get it past congress.
i actually believe that for once as artemis is extremely fucked already without a pointless and unrelated SLS launch

That could work with good administration and proper budget, but we have neither. If NASA keeps delaying their rocket for the fifth year in a row, how long do you think such a radical redesign would take? I think it would be too long to make it worth it.
Right now our best and only hope is Moonship with crew transfer in LEO, or at Gateway, if delta v allows it.

The space vampire anime actually inspired me to get a job with a smallsat launcher in my country because I wanted that feeling of getting in on the ground floor of a space program. It's been fun so far.
