>>14116623so since this plan was released they scrapped the MK series and upgraded to the SN series basically redoing all their manufacturing processes, they went from "we will use a launch pad and legs on everything" to "launch pad also has a catch tower and nothing has legs" with all actual hardware built at this point, they're in late development of the second major version of Raptor (redesigned for better manufacturability and performance) and also Starlink 2 satellites are on their way (tangentially related to Starship development, as the new Starlink design gives Starship EDL tests something to do while going up to orbit in the first place and as such those Starlink sats are modified to be more optimized as a Starship payload (more computaz or something idk)
so it's not like they just took an extra year to do the things they wanted to do, they ended up coming up with a lot more things to do along the way and have done them or 95% done them.
