Personally though I think it's important to analyze how you process things, for example do you 'see' mathematics and like... you see geometric shapes that are relevant to numbers, are you synesthesic and different numbers have different colors or maybe even flavors... even if you don't 'represent' mathematical concepts in your brain in this way it's important to pay attention to how your brain processes them and find the best way to leverage that.
