What they don't tell you is that intelligence is a broad spectrum that goes beyond said pattern recognition and logic (like kinetic, social, spatial etc). That's how you have people who are street smart but wouldn't last a semester in uni and vice versa.

Life is sometimes more about endurance and diligence than it is about strength.
