However, I contend that there is actually one group of people who theoretically could have speciated if they had made different choices: Jews. I mean full reproductive isolation, as in they wouldn't be able to have children with whites or any other group of humans, why? Genetic diseases. Tay Sachs is a genetic disease which causes the death of infants, which also happens to be extremely prevalent among Jewish people.
Hypothetically, had the Jewish people slowly Eugenically selected themselves until Tay sachs disease is no longer fatal, then they could have speciated. Think about it, all they would have to do is mandated an age, say 3, and every Jewish person whose infant died of Tay sachs before the age of 3 gets excommunicated and sent to live with the goyim. Then when everybody's tay sachs children are living past the age of 3, they raise it to 4, then 5, and so forth until the person with Tay sachs lives to the age of reproduction, like 25. At that point introducing any more goyim genes would cause all their children to die, as the goyim would introduce tay sachs causing genes. Add a little bit of genetic drift and they would have to be classified as a new species.
