Imagine if you will an SLS using 4 Falcon 9 cores as boosters. Total thrust would be a little higher (30.4 MN for the falcons vs 29.2 MN for the boosters), and their higher ISP and longer base burntimes means the falcons could stage and RTLS at the point where the boosters would burn out, OR remain attached for a little longer and improve the performance of the whole stack.

The Falcon 9 is freakishly powerful.

The Space Shuttle Main Engines were hideously complicated and basically had to be taken apart and reassembled after every flight. The saltwater corrosion on the SRBs made reusing them just as expensive as just building new ones plus the Shuttles heatshield was made up of thousands of individually shaped tiles that each had to be checked out and refurbished. I'm sure there's more things that I'm missing

They basically had to take everything apart and put it back together, including the engines and all of heat tiles, one by one. Refurbishing SRBs was actually more expensive than building brand new ones.

Seems unlikely. The foundations of everything should remain intact, but the pipework and tanks will be a mess, and if the tower's not full of concrete, that will need to be replaced too.

Sed rox (and some low grade metamorphic rocks with sedimentary protoliths) have bedding. Basically just distinct units different from the rock on top and below, because the depositional environment was different through geologic time. Igneous rocks don't have bedding, meaning that pic from perseverance either shows dark sedimentary rocks or some sort of basalt that just so happens to look bedded out of coincidence
