Man, these lefties seeth at the thought of normal but very well off individuals being able to leave the planet. This is the wife of a NASA employee. She's upset that the "rich" people get to go and not her husband & his "qualifications".

Bezos might be the richest person on the planet but if you take his wealth & company away he would be your typical Californian snob. He doesn't have the "qualifications" that the current batch of astronauts have who are lined up to go to the moon.

Even if you had those qualifications you still might not be able to go to Mars or the Moon due to the waiting list. Those waiting list astronauts could go to Mars or the Moon as commercial employees, but then you would have people saying that companies shouldn't be allowed to commercialize celestial bodies.
