>>13360230>severe malnutritionI didn't even say "severe malnutrition." I said, say it with me:
N U T R I E N T
D E F I C I E N C I E S
It is possible to be deficient in nutrients without being severely malnourished. It's possible to be deficient in nutrients over extended periods of time without dying. It's not good to be deficient in nutrients, and which ones you're deficient in and by how much will influence what sorts of effects you experience, but it won't necessarily kill you and it's not necessarily equivalent to severe malnutrition.
For example, almost every person in the world is deficient in Vitamin D, regardless of diet. Do people who are deficient in Vitamin D die? No. Do people who significantly increase their Vitamin D intake noticeably improve their overall health, immune functions, hormone balances, and even mental health? Absolutely yes.
So stop fucking strawmanning this bullshit about MUH MALNUTRITION and MUH DEAD SEVERAL TIMES OVER. You know nothing about nutrition if you think any deficiency in any nutrient leads to death.
