>>13344419>They're prototypesNot really, they are just under-powered throw-away rockets shaped like the CGI pictures of a Starship to keep the boss and the fans happy.
They have a winner in the Falcon/Dragon combo, they'd be better off working on incremental improvements there rather than chasing the shiny meme rocket that is likely to turn into a Space Shuttle as they develop it.
That said, I wish them all the luck in (and off) the world. I hope anybody and everybody developing spaceflight systems succeeds beyond their wildest dreams -- more space ships is better than fewer space ships.
