Your also overestimate again how much of a risk we are anything but ourselves, let alone some far space faring species. All your arguments are just as speculative as any other. We, again, don't even really know how special life is at a cosmic scale in the first place. And trust me, nobody is getting million dollar grants to study sand mites if the rest of society considers it a waste for the curiosity of a few. Our oceans remain still mostly unexplored from this simple constrain alone.
