>>4043822>I'm not familiar with the actual backrooms beyond the original 4chan post.Basically kids and autists turned that /x/ story into collective stories on par with the SCP Foundation in terms of size but 100x more chaotic, adding countless levels (negative numbers, irrational numbers, NULL levels, "easter egg" levels, etc). There are like 5 separate wikis just in English that have completely different canons, levels, factions, entities and rules, plus a countless amount of independent stories, comics, videos and games of varying degrees of quality that have their own lore, with the nu-SCP wiki (which moved from short stories about weird things to long novels about self-insert characters and their live in one of the many canons that exist) being a large influence on many of them. One of those countless canons (Kane Pixels' Backrooms) recently was adapted into a jewllywood film, so expect to see normalfags making references to the backrooms and liminal spaces for a while.
