>>4034178I assume a lot of people get filtered by it being about Go. Manga about Go, Mahjong, and Shogi can be a bit harder to get into for Western fans. Meanwhile, it's easy enough to still find some shotacon fans of HnG in Japan where it was quite popular, but it is very much part of the highly crowded Turn-of-the-Millennium nostalgia circuit, which was basically an era of 10/10 shota. There's only so many active Millennial shotacon artists to go around for such a plethora of cuties to obsessively draw for a quarter century.
