>>4010447I think letting him get wrecked and die like that fits his character as far as we know about vampires and such, even makes him more likeable in a way, it's totally understandable that an immortal all powerful being wouldn't give a shit about a human he just met, and letting him die is in a way showing he still has empathy and humanity left because saving him when he was incapable of thinking through whether it's what he wanted or not (time constraint being dying, he wouldn't have time to think about the consequences of being immortal, how it lined up with his personal morals and beliefs, and many other things) Maybe I'm thinking about it too much, but him 1. Not caring about Louis, and 2. Letting him die (we're assuming he even has the power to save him from that kind of wound, we don't know) makes him a more likeable and understandable character because if he made louis a vampire without giving him time to think about it, louis might hate himself for literally ever and have an eternity of misery to look forward to
It really is just the blood garden thing that made no sense and pissed me off, he smells dried blood in a small amount from a pocket, but not a literal field of freshly sprayed wet blood How?
