I'm a zoomer myself and I've had the complete opposite experience. Most of my peers are terribly irony-poisoned to the point where they think all sincerity is embarrassing, and can only communicate under 5 layers of irony - it's exhausting. There are zoomers I love, of course, but the sweet ones are the exception.
I tend to get along with millennials for this reason - because although they can definitely be fake (as all groups can), they arent as afraid to say things that can be perceived as cringe. Growing up without the digital panopticon infiltrating literally every facet of their lives allowed millennials to grow up a bit more genuine.
