>>4004671It kind of depends on what you look for in these games. If you mainly play for the story/characters, then definitely Scarlet/Violet. The story in ZA was pretty lame, and by the end of it there were only really 2 characters that I liked (neither of which got sufficient airtime to actually make me feel attached to them). SV's story was similarly pretty weak at the outset, but it ramps up in the final act in a really surprising and satisfying way. If you don't mind shelling out for the DLC, the SV DLC has one of the best written rivals in the entire series.
If you mainly play for the actual gameplay/monster collection aspect, then I think you'd like ZA more. Its catching/battle systems are much snappier, and it feels nice to stack your in-game team with alphas that actually tower over you.
