The censored movie posters were also pretty disappointing, if understandable. No Juggalos, no Betty Crocker, no "Don't Want to Miss a Thing". What's even the point? Homestuck without Nick Cage references is like a bunny without it's box.
I do kind of wish Homestuck was more accessible, though, if only to make re-reading it easier. There is so much fat that can be cut out of it, and I think it could make a really tight narrative with the right editing, and maybe some revisions to the ending. I still think a proper, retro earthbound-like video game would be the best format. Like we were promised with the Kickstarter.
