>>3968632You're the one that's ignoring what's written. I never once conflated androgyny with femininity. I made it explicitly clear that the "femininity" of traps is fake. It's things like clothes and hair which have no inherent masculine or feminine character beyond arbitrary social norms.
>Your average prepubescent boy, despite not having the traits of an adult male, is still obviously male and does not "trap" straight menThis isn't true at all. If prepubescent boys and girls wore the same clothes and hair, most people would not be able to differentiate between them. And even into early puberty, almost all boys can convincingly crossdress. Stories involving normal and even handsome boys and young men successfully crossdressing have been a source of amusement and light eroticism since antiquity. Do you think Achilles and Ash Ketchum were particularly feminine? Yeah, me neither. It didn't stop them from being traps. Hell, even as a 5'11", gangly man in male clothes I've been mistaken as a woman from behind solely due to being thin and having long hair. Which brings me back to my point about male beauty. Prepubescent boys do have slightly different proportions than girls. And adolescent boys begin to develop masculine fat distribution and musculature and also start getting sharper faces. But, due to the assumptions people make when guessing a person's sex, this is insufficient to give away a trap. In fact, it is these early hints of manhood that give boys the unique beauty that allows them to outcompete their female peers even at their own game. This is what traps are all about.
I tend to prefer traditionally boyish boys myself. 95+% of my Len folder is non-trap. But traps are a special window through which to view male beauty that I will always appreciate and defend.
Also, people born after the earliest depictions of trap Len are almost old enough to post here. So with him in particular it's a matter of tradition as well.
