>>3283767As far as I remember, a lot of people actually sympathized with Ace because his positiveness in the face of opposition from both his teammates and the world around him was a real breath of fresh air and actually provided a level of weight and innocence to him.
If he didn't have those people constantly calling him out, he'd be admittedly annoying.
Also, Ballmastrz may seem like an ironic parody but ultimately the story is actually pretty wholesome without any "clever" twists or "edgy humor"
