>>3246915Anon you replied to here and I don't know if I'd call it big major issues? They were happy and Adam was willing to marry Shiro and stay with him while his body went to shit. The problem was that Shiro started to take too much risks and was putting his work before his health and that bothered Adam. Lauren even said Adam didn't feel respected. They had some arguments that built up to what we saw. Though I do think Adam didn't handle it well because ultimatums are never a good idea, but he wasn't evil. So now that they both had time to learn some shit they can meet each other again etc.
Angst actually there is a loooot on fic but it's either: Shiro and the death, or the fights before he left, stuff like that.
>>3246953Oh, anon, you sweet summer child. I get it you haven't been following the whole mess? There was a big backslash from fandom here because they promised big things in comicon after showing 7x1 and then we got... well, that. You have to understand a couple of things:
1. It's been years so Shiro moving on after a BREAK-UP isn't completely wrong, but yeah mourning was bad.
2. Those flashbacks were supposed to go in 2x1, some episodes before the originally planned Shiro's death, and they moved them when the execs told them to keep Shiro. I don't mind the idea of Adam as just backstory, in fact I would've preferred it if he stayed there if that meant not having the mess we had after. It's like they went out of their way to kill him. But get used to this. I love VLD but the writing has some big issues which comes down to the EPs not being writers and just pitching cool ideas they want to get done. So when they're ordered to do changes the whole thing breaks apart. It happens with tons of plot points starting by Keith's general arc.
3. You haven't gotten much from fandom for many reasons. 1. the disappointment. 2., it came too late, and most people already have other ships they like more for Shiro. 3. lots of people think Adam was an asshole.
