>>3254848It’s kind of a strange choice for a theme since the original book was literal horror pulp fiction of it’s time. And the musical is more like a love triangle. Neither versions seem like something Bald would go for since he’s more into classical music and literature. He’s also found his one and only so a romantic routine based off of a musical where the definitive couple isn’t agreed upon by its own fandom is odd.
I’m probably overthinking it and it’s just Kubo inserting her love of musicals.
