But as for other manganime, I’d say that Kojima is definitely influenced by Gundam and GITS in addition to Kubo, hell maybe even Togashi, but I am a shonenshit so my ability to pick out Kojima’s native influences is limited.
But as for Vamp, hell yeah he was definitely involved in converting Raiden. Vamp is a master of hypnosis, illusions, the human body, fear creation, sensuality and things-not-of-this world, highly intelligent, and is an effective administrator. Of course he’d be on the project about Raiden and the BB’s conversion. He was probably mainly responsible for getting Raiden to both the long-term and short-term psychological states where he’d be most easily imprinted on, and maintaining said states. He was also probably responsible for maintaining and increasing Raiden’s motor skills and physical condition during the conversion
