So the entire plot is predicated on the fact that Mikazuki is basically the glitch in the matrix? Now I understand why he's so deflective and vague, pretty hard to break it to people that you're literally ripping apart the space time continuum just by existing.
I really love how the stageplays and the musicals give the swords much needed depth. You can only glean so much from the in-game lines, it's very restricting. The stageplays and musicals enable the writers to fully flesh out the characters and what their motives are and multiple other things one can do with the medium.
At first, I really didn't give much of a shit about Mikazuki, but finding out how he's basically You're Gonna Carry That Weight, bearing all that heavy shit for the longest time, puts him in a totally different light. It's pretty obvious he's laughing through all that pain and it's tearing him apart how he's doomed to fight Manba again and again for all eternity. You son of a bitch, you deserve all the tea and sweets in the goddamn world.
