The remake's complicated in that it does some neat things like fixing some jobs (Sage/Ninja aren't broken, Viking and Bard are worth using, etc) and allowing companions to occasionally aid in battle, but it also has things holding it back (buffed enemies and bosses since only 3 can be on-screen at a time, the Job Adjustment phases (the mechanics of which are cryptic),
