>Sam, whom I actually like but is comic relief with no real arc and an accessory for Steve>Fury, who is more like walking exposition>Don Cheadle, who is not attractive, relevant, and is an accessory for Tony I remember seeing Westaboo fanart for T'Challa back when Civil War first came out and being shocked it existed, but now it doesn't seem all that surprising considering he's an actual character with plot purpose, character arc, and is not goofy comic relief. All other black character heavy films are very American-centric and deal with slavery or drugs or gangs or living on the streets and just general misery that an Asian fujo couldn't possibly contextualize, relate to, or want to ship. And when you have them in fantastical films like the new Star Wars, they're completely pointless comic relief played by uggos like John Boyega. BP has definitely changed things.
