I gotta say, I've been in many fandoms over the years and of course every single one has the fandom favorite, but this particular fandom's entire situation with Lance is just a bizarre phenomenon I've never witnessed before. It's practically cultish, to the point where he seems to be the only character that exists as far as fandom on tumblr is concerned. Honestly, the fact that so many Lancefags get incensed when the show has Lance be the flirtatious aggressively heterosexual comic relief (y'know, in character) and desperately cling to and conflate scraps like Lance ordering people around in a 2 minute clip is telling.
