That's just the design stuff though. Distinctive design doesn't really matter if you can't execute it well. Which is why your technical skills will matter a lot.
Jojo's art is great because it combines masculinity and beauty, which hasn't been much of a thing in the west for a while. Either it's masculine but ugly/workmanlike/boring or it's beautiful/fine but too feminine. Good luck with your art and I BELIEVE IN YOU
