>>3115539Sure, you can get 5*s easily enough. But unlike PaD, there's no chance that the units will be useful. Even shitty silver eggs in PaD can have a worthwhile active or fit on a niche team as a sub for a card you don't have yet. In ToL you either get useful units (vamp/delay, meta leader, efficient tile flip/boost) or fuck you. Banners usually have one to two good units with a whole bunch of junk in the way too. The guarantees have gotten better- we're now going to get a 5* if we put enough stones in, and the "2x4* + 1 featured unit (usually a new shitty 4*)" pulls are gone. But teams in ToL are not very flexible outside of the three actives you can use and those are pretty much set in stone: a tile flipper and a tile booster, with the third either being type booster for your finisher or whatever you're stuck with because of your leader. Anyone that has an expensive or weak active is automatically out (especially if they're not a vamp/delay). That's the majority of units. So that common pool Ludger is never going to be useful no matter how many times I use him. Couple that with stat sticks only being worthwhile if they have armour boosts and/or Lucky Healing and you're very limited in what you can use to make a team that can take on the challenging stuff.
Anyway I could do a huge rant about it but /cm/ is not the place to bitch about shitty gatcha games featuring a bunch of amazing boys.
